Unapproved Visitor Messages Question

How do they work? I know you just have to select them, and approve them with the bottom page tools. But I was wondering why some are unapproved and some are not. At first I thought it was friends/not friends messages, but it's not! LOL some of my friends ones also are unapproved, Why?!?! XD... I'm sure it's a simple answer and I'm too stupid to see it probably... Anybody know the answer? Thanks in advance to anyone

I have the same problem...btw how can you approve them?

Currently by design, visitor messages inside user profiles are initially unapproved when they're posted. Myself or another moderator has to approve them individually before they can be seen. This is because spammers use the area to post links and short of disabling the whole system, there's no other way to manage those messages.

now I lost it....

does that mean that you need to approve it before I can see it. Or can I see it directly and you need to approve it to make it public. or Do you and I need to approve it both?

Basically now, any message at first is unapproved. Therefore, they try and approve them for you, they have to check them, and they do as many as they can, but you can do it yourself aswell anytime if you have a message and it's not spam/troll, it's the same thing, it's just about the timing, Even if no one approves them for you, you can do it yourself Am I right Lon? (Hope I didn't fail )

Oh interesting, I didn't know about this feature... though I had wondered what the moderated message meant.

So this means all visitor messages have to go through mods? If so, I better behave! Lol j/k
