New Posts - Game threads separate from rest of the threads?

Hi guys,

Just a thought... With all the fan game activity at times (I should know, because I am one of the main culprits) often times the New Posts are flooded with just fan game threads, while other more "substantial" threads get buried. I'm not complaining, since this gives the fan games much more visibility (I like that); however, I am also cognizant of the fact that many non-gamers, or just the membership in general, may be hindered by this in their browsing.

I don't know if anyone has yet complained about it, but I wouldn't be surprised if so. That is why I am suggesting, if necessary, a way in which we can remove the fan game posts from the New Posts search. Not sure how exactly we'd handle this, but maybe someone else can think of a good idea. Again, I have no problems with how things are currently, but I suspect that others might not necessarily share my sentiments. So any other thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Indeed, the spamming nature of the fan games tends to make them special cases. =)

Yeah I agree, the new posts section is just littered with the fan games.
