thats a great idea and actually IPB 3.0 comes with the member status system but I don't know if vBulletin(the one we are operating on) has it
Implemented: haveing a member status update?
like the ones used on facebook. maybe we could have this on ones personal page along with all the info. it would ask what are you doing? ____
than you answer, how ever you feel, or what every you are doing. this wouldn't help the website in anyway to function better, but could help improve member interaction.
know there would be more to this, but im just shooting out a basic idea right now. however this is based on only if the program used to create the forums is able to create such a function.
thoughts, ideas, hate mail?

Ah I see, I suppose that's kinda cool. As long as it was adopted and used by the members, I imagine the forums already chew up bandwidth like there's no tomorrow
a member status would be nice, i like the idea
