I didnt , and thats a very interesting story.
You see back then at 2008 when I had just entered film school , my teacher was telling us about edition and then he brought up the topic of james cameron.
He told us that he was working on a movie called AVATAR and that it wasnt the avatar that we know '' the animated toon''. And that it was the most and best guarded secret of the industry.
He also claimed that it was goin to make people come back to the cinemas.

Back then I tought that the film would be something waay different. From that point on I decided that I would not see spoilers nor nothing with information regarding the movie.
Until the propaganda started to show up during 2009. Alot of people used to tell me that they wherent attracted to the look of the movie but I was sure, I knew something special was going on but I had no clue.
I tought on going to the premier but I dont like crowds, makes me feel claustrophobic so I pre-purchased tickets for 2 days later on a V.I.P. room. Where you get to select your seats and get a confortable chair and all that.

Sure the tickets where 2 times more pricey but they where worth every penny, after all the 1st time you see a movie is something that stays printed in your memory for your whole life.
And I gotta tell you, my 1st print was a helluva amaizing experience :3
I am glad I restricted my self from viewing the spoilers and previews.

I figured the movie would just be stupid but I went to see it because the effects looked freaking amazing. And when I ended up going I went with my two other friends who both started complaining about how their butts hurt half way through. But by that time I was already completely lost in it. That movie really had a way of taking me away from the theater- a feeling I know everyone here can relate too.

And its funny because Im DEFINATLY not a sci-fy person. Farthest thing from it, actually. Lol
