Who thought that Avatar was going to suck???

    I did!!.. I'm not into Science fiction stuff, so I thought that it was going to be 3 long boring hours...
    After seeing it, though, I became a different person..

    I admit it, I did. But I didnt really know anything about it and since most movies do suck I figured this one would too.

    Soooo glad I was wrong.

    So. Nope. But I can see how some people would! I'm a big scifi fan, but I understand how some non sci-fi fans could be skeptical.

    I totally thought that it would suck, C + tops.

    Now I have seen it 5 times, own the soundtrack, movies posters and have like 800 posts on this site.

    Not just non-sci fi fans. I love sci-fi and I thought it would suck. Im just a pessimist when it comes to movies.

    I had 0 interest in the movie until everyone wanted to go see it after Christmas.

    I learned a hard lesson that day.

    I remember first seeing the trailer thinking this was lame, but then I saw that it was directed by James Cameron and I knew from just his name alone that this would be a good movie. My friends thought this was going to be a dumb movie but when I finally convinced them to go see it in 3D IMAX with me, they were awe struck.

    Haha, same here. I love sci fi and I thought it was going to suck really bad.
