Good link man...if you are considering buying a 3D tv Id recommend trying out both a passive and an active shutter set, I ended up getting a passive one and Im totally happy with it, however you might prefer one with active shutter glasses.

3D is is about to get quite an improvement with the switch to higher framerates, and projection at 4K Detail, one of the most important aspects of 3D presentation is the "light loss" the glasses cause often make the image dark and low contrast ,The cause is simple, the projected image is not bright enougth, this often happens when cinemas turn down the lamp brightness for longer lamp life."Complain" The most important thing with 3D content and something Cameron stresses over and over , Is that it have natural focal depth and present 3D objects in scene in a natural correct perspective correct easy to view manor that naturaly calls the eyes to the items of intrest in in the 3D scene (Because that item is the one that is at proper focal depth , and the rest are "Not" try and look at those and your eyes will stress to bring them into focus , when you try and present a 3D scene where the whole image has litle focal change "Like lion king 3D" your eyes will hunt the scene and try and focus on the "wrong" objects , this makes 3D viewing stressful and its the film makers fault.

Id say the darkness aspect was my least fav part of 3D at the theater, at home I just select a brighter back light setting while watching 3D and all is fine.
