I watched AVATAR listening with pro-quality headphones last night. All 160 minutes, and it was remarkable. So many sound nuances that I didn't catch during regular viewings.

Sounds great It's so true, many times I forget just how important sound is... It adds just So much to the AVATAR experience, and with good quality headphones as you used, it must be more than remarkable I'm sure

I also remember first time i used quality headphones, it was purely amazing... Hearing all those little sounds you just don't hear with normal tv-speakers.. Amazing...

I use Sennheiser HD800's for watching movies and yes the amount of detail is incredible especially on Avatar.
