Default I had to do it... body language thread!

I loved the facial expressions/ noises. Body language is 1000 times more powerful than spoken word, and the body language in this movie was phenomenal.

I like that so many people picked up on the body language of this movie.

What about the scene when she rescues “real Jake” from the remote avatar station after colonel psycho-pants busted out the windows. That was the first time she saw the real Jake, and saw for the first time that his legs didn’t work. She didn’t care a bit. They were already soul mates. She accepted him for who he was; his spirit and his soul. The way she held him, and when he put his hand on her face. Powerful & emotional… all body language.

All that magnificent body language was made whole by JC's facial capture technique.

Another example has already been said in another tread, when Neytiri defends Jake's body from Tsu'Tey

Or the time after she gets the colonel twice with her bow. She does the same thing.

Yeah, I felt a need to start a new thread 'cause everyone was talking about BL in the other thread. This subject is too important to be buried on pages 3 and 4!

James spend every penny well to capture every expression. Big thanks to him for capturing every single detail and making these characters trully alive.

I think that the Floating Mountains/ banshee scene was the first time we see that Neytiri loved him. She was very nervous for him, (you could see it in her face). Then, when jake took his first flight, she got all giddy and excited and ran to her banshee to fly with him.

You know what else was good, when Jake said, “Yes, ????? is a good hunter…” and Neytiri got this look on her face like Jake might not choose her…

Although she's not human, Neytiri is the movie character for who I feel the most sympathy. No other movie character seemed to touch me as much as she did and that's thanks to her body language as well.

I cant explain it but I think that everyone who stared in this movie, this might be there best movie to date. Maybe also because sci-fi has not had the best acting....ever really. But james makes these characters so believable they just clicked with use.

    I agree 100%.

I also feel for Grace & Trudy. They were underappreciated yet still sacrificed themselves.
