What happened to the Samson that was chasing Neytiri?

I've watched that part of the film again, and in that scene, Neytiri flew through vines and large branches that would obstruct the path of a Samson. The turbine of the helicopter was winding down, but we never saw what happened to it. According to the script, it's supposed to be caught by a Na'vi net and crash.

I don't know about the Samson, but if the humans had a Spectre we would be talking a completely different ending.....

yeah,i read the script again for the first time since April,and it did say that the Na'vi archers in the trees brought it down with a net. that would have been great to see in the battle sequence,as well as 'sniper' archers,and cqb warriors dropping onto humans,once the AMP suits were dealt with. you do hear the Samsons rotors change their pitch and start to whine,as if it had to pull up or something,but the scene changes to Seze getting shot down,sadly. i also saw a brief script piece in the 'sturmbeast hunt' where Tsu'tey grudgingly salutes Jake after his sturmbeast kill shot,but that isn't seen in the finished scene. i wish the Na'vi could have had time to make and train with crossbows,that would have been cool! if you have ever played half-life 2,the crossbow with sniperscope is badass!!! maybe we'll see Jake's Na'vi commandos with crossbows in the sequel...

Well Not all the Samson where destroyed in the battle a couple of Samsons where able to evacuate RDA soldiers.

"All escorts are down or falling back" -The radar operator guy stationed in the dragon said soon after Eywa launched her attack. If the Samson that chased Neytiri survived, it probably made a bee line for Hell's Gate. But from what I read here leads me to think it didn't.
