Listened to the song, its lovely but if I heard that at that part in the movie I would have thought it to be extremely cheesy. :(

The whole movie is filled with emotional scenes but to if i must single them out:

The whole hometree scene was pretty unbearable to watch, as probably more than a thousand years of omaticayan history was destroyed with it (along with a couple of omaticayan generations).

This..this is our land! (Hell yeah!!)

Near the last stretch of the final battle when Tsu'tey, Trudy and Neyriti are shot down, when you totally forgot that Jake asked for Eywa's help and see no other solution to the fact that Neyriti is pinned down and is going to make some sort of last stand. (Don't do it Neyriti, listen to Jake, o sh*t she's going to do it,o sh*t, o sh*t, then huh?!)

The total surprise as you for a couple of seconds you ponder: "What could be charging thru the woods"?, "Definetely not a second Direhorse charge" "no ikrans are left" "No foot soldier charge" "Then what? WHAT?!

The complete and utter joy of "Eywa has heard you"!! (and you go YEAAAHHHHHH!!)

And of course the "I see you" at the end which amounts to so many emotions its indescribable.

This. I am not a very emotional person when it comes to movies, but Avatar made me see another side of my personality.

I get chills everytime I watch the scene where Jake and Neytiri choose each other as mates, and at the end when she saves him and they say 'I See you' to each other. Also, when jake gives his big speech at the tree of souls and the destruction of hometree...

Absolutely the "my Jake" scene :D but I also find the scene where Jake prayed to Eywa up to Neytiri telling him that Eywa doesn't take sides only restore balance, very emotional.
