after all the countless times i have seen Avatar,is it still the 'i see you' scene in the link trailer, with Neytiri cradling her soulmate, whom she has just saved from certain death, and the relieved/loving expressions on their tired and battle-weary faces,as they truly see each other. that scene always leaves me with goosebumps and a need to wipe my eyes...

I'm sorry if it looks unoriginal, but all of you are totally Right, The 'I see you' scene, wiht Neytiri holding Jake is Just, Simply, Beautiful, most Emotional as a second choice apart from saying the most emotional scene is the WHOLE MOVIE, as ma tsmukan Sanjwale said ^_^ , i get shivers, at the scene where Jake has just made his tsahelu with his Ikran, and after Him and Beautiful Neytiri fly together, there's the bit when they Fly side by side at full speed in a full drop along the mountain wall pointing downwards, and then they pull up toghether, that Scene, and the Music... OH MY GOODNESS WHAT A FEELING, MAGICAL AND BEAUTIFUL anyone agree that bit is AWESOME? =))

i felt that the mating scene was most emotional. i know everyone felt sadness, anger and greif when hometree was destroyed and felt joy and happiness when Neytiri held Jake in her arms but for me the mating scene was so emtional and it was the strongest scene for me. It was the first moment in the story where i felt like i truly was in love with Neytiri and i thought i was insane but no i wasn't. for weeks i couldn't stop thinking about that scene

This feels like the triumphant final chord, turning around a sad piece of music at the end - it begins with the reversal of the Na'vi warriors' luck, when Quaritch calls in the Scorpions (the gunships, not the band!) to "pursue and destroy", when we witness the HE missiles hammering them, and then seeing Trudy's Samson, Tsu'tey and Seze being shot down in rapid succession. Neytiri witnessing fire and death while mourning her mount (including a galloping direhorse on fire - I get tear-blurred vision at that point, too) and then being cornered while the RDA troopers approach her position and she is about to defy Jake's order - sounding more like a desperate plea, the second time he tells her "do not attack!" - made me feel and think "Oh, great, so this is it? They tried and failed?" when seeing the movie for the first time. But then: triumphant reversal, as the hammerheads crash through the underbrush, and Neytiri realizes and says, in a husky voice, unbelieving at first "Eywa has heard you"... the real note of triumph is when she yells it full volume and that grin of victory is on her face...

Makes me shiver and grin, too.

omg this!! the entire tsu'tey scene was sooo emotional. i love whe he sees jake and says "are the people safe" and the small bit from the "bioluminescence" soundtrack starts to play jake says with a smile "they're safe" Definitely that and "eywa has heard you" gave me goosebumps even to this day when i see it.

ney.pngYou can tell it’s an incredible film when so many scenes could legitimately be labeled as the most emotional. If push comes to shove, I agree with “I see you”. It’s obviously not a secret for Neytiri that Jake is a human, but it’s one thing to know that in your head and I believe another to be physically confronted with his human form complete with frail, nonfunctional legs….particularly when you’re fresh off the battlefield trying to kill the human interlopers (well, most of them anyway) and watching your people get killed. What’s so emotionally moving for me is that it’s absolutely clear she only sees the spirit she loves; its physical form is irrelevant. That message is repeated when she kisses Jake’s human form before the transfer. It’s a testament to the depth of emotion they feel for each other..….it transcends physical form….and is one more reason why it’s impossible not to love Neytiri

Yikes, I get emotional just going over the scene in my mind.
