man what the heck is worng with jake and Neytiri loving each other, what could possibly be wrong with understanding two individuals making each other happier than anythign else, Its the same as race issues here in this world.

Also Neytiri did not fall for Jake's Avatar, she fell in love with his personality, how he does things, how he behaves, how he interacts, how he respects. All those things are what keep people in love. As for jake i think its the same he falls in love with what neytiri stands for...

And as for the physical bit dude, nothing wrong at all..i mean they are both attractive and beautiful They are known as man and woman, absolutely nothing wrong with it

a lot people cannot see beyond the surface of any issue, the first time I watched Avatar a friend of mine had a negative reaction to Jake and Neytiri hooking up, I didn't feel like launching into a 15 minute explanation on the meaning of life, if you don't get it you're a "skxawng" and I mean that seriously

the issue of Jake abandoning his human form is another stumbling block for some people, they have trouble understanding how you'd want to become an 'alien', in Jakes case it's very easy to understand, look at his old meaningless human life in a crippled body versus his life as a Navi, it's pretty simple, I'd switch to given his scenario.

i have never understood the people that see negativity in the relationship of Neytiri and Jake. love is blind. you don't pick who you love,it just happens. one of those unexplainable mysteries of life,and life is universal,therefor love is universal. i am still quite taken with this couple,though i wish i were in his sho....er,feet. lol

i dont think it's wrong at all. first of all, the Na'vi are very similar in appearance to us humans, so it already establishes a connection on some level. second, when you spend time with someone it's inevitable that you will get to know them and form a relationship, sometimes you just end up being friends, sometimes even more. it just happens i guess.

They only let their own personal prejudice get in the way of the story line. Pity. I found the “interspecies booty call” very enjoyable. I thought the part where he wakes inside the link afterwards and says, “What the hell are you doing?” priceless.
