If Avatar Jake was disabled too, would Neytiri still fall for him?

Ever look at a person disfigured or disabled and think to yourself, "My God! How dose he/she live like that?"

The answer is, disabilities do not define who they are.

While it would alter parts of the story, if Neytiri fell in love with Jake the person, she would fall in love with him regardless of being disabled in avatar form.

It's actually a good question... Well, I think that if they knew Jake would have been disabled in an avatar body too, Jake would never have even been called. The whole point was that Jake could start a new life, thanks to technology, he could move a whole other body perfetcly, through his brain, and I just can't imagine Jake on a wheelchair on pandora, it's not phisically possible, the Na'vi are hunters, live in sync with nature, he could never have become a hunter if he couldn't have walked... Makes me wonder, are there disabled Na'vi? what happens to them if they get badly injured?... Anyway, I'm happy it all worked out, and probably , Neytiri would have fell in love with Jake anyway, because his soul was special, Toruk Makto.

I think any compassionate being would be inclined to mercifully end the suffering of another. Tsu'tey looked mortally wounded to us but perhaps to a Na'vi those bullet injuries and subsequent fall was survivable. He asked for mercy, and Jake reluctantly obliged.

In Jake's case, given much different circumstances, I can easily see Neytiri being his care provider for the remainder of his natural human life. I don't think the Na'vi would kill their own disabled and sick. They would provide comfort for them and only do what must be done for those poor souls languishing in agony that have little to no hope for reprieve.

Oh sure Scott I agree, I'm sure they treat anyone disabled with care, they're lovely people, they don't do any bad things It's just interesting, because you don't see anyone hurt ^_^ They're too good to get hurt, they grow up in the forest, and are one with nature

Ummm no? He would never last more than 2 minutes in that jungle if he was disabled in any way.
