If Avatar Jake was disabled too, would Neytiri still fall for him?

What do you think, would Neytiri still fall in love w/ Jake if Jake's avatar was or became disabled, too, and wouldn't be able to walk/climb/hunt like he did in the movie?

(This is only a hypothetical question, b/c I know that Grace&co. wouldn't send any disabled avatar to the jungle on Pandora, they'd probably think it's too dangerous. Still, I think this is an interesting dilemma.)

I'm not sure. I think she potentially could, but it would have been much harder, since they really fell for each other while doing all that stuff together. He would have been the same person, but Neytiri might not have realised her feelings for him.

I doubt she would. He wouldnt be able to show her who he realy is and what hes capable off, therefore theres a chance she wouldnt notice his bravery and good soul and maybe wouldnt end up loving him.

Honestly, I doubt it. I think that the time she spent mentoring Jake was how she fell in love with him in the first place, which would not have been possible if he had been in some way handicapped.

I'd like to think that it'd still happen, but Jake proved to neytiri that he wanted badly to learn about their ways and she fell in love with him through that process, so I'd say it would have been much, much more difficult.

Well, I actually have a kind of dilemma abt that. First, I think that Neytiri has a very open-minded personality and she could accept a disabled person, too as her mate, if that certain person has the heart and the courage. But still, Jake wouldn't be able to show his true personality like that.
Maybe if he was given some opportunities to do sg really awesome from his wheelchair. E.g. in the original script there was a scene when Jake beat up a guy who insulted his girlfriend -- in his human from, from his wheelchair and everything. He could do stuff like that in the jungle, too.

I tend to agree. She learns more about him throughout this process. She notices his persistence and his bravery and all this would have been nearly impossible to show had he still been handicapped. But you never know
