Question Has anyone thought of all the toys left behind?

After the final defeat of the humans, they were loaded up and sent home. Think of all the gear left behind, especially the on battlefield. Think about the weapons now available and the fact the Jake is trained on how to use them!!!
A Navi carrying an RDA weapon… that’s a potent mix! Gives me the goosebumps!

Well they probably took most of their weapons with them.
And the trash/debris left behind from the battle was probably thrown into the compound where the humans used to stay.

They were basically forced off the grounds onto a SINGLE shuttle. Simple no way everything would fit and dont even start with "maybe they made more than one trip". If you think they were allowed to take all the weapons with them to reorganize at the space station then you are delusional. There is no way they would give them back all the weapons just so they can use them again against the Navi again. No way.

Even if the gear was left behind, the Na'vi wouldn't be able to use most of it, simply because their bodies aren't built for it. That's the most simple reason. Nevermind the fact that they cannot repair any of the equipment or even do things like produce more ammo. You probably wouldn't see much done with it aside from having the scientists disarm most of the vehicles so they can easily take them into the field.

Avatar Jake carried human firearms for the final battle, he seemed to have no problem making use of them.

Besides theres no need to pick up battlefield firearms, think of all the firepower left behind by the RDA. You don't think that they don't have plenty of supplies back at base, do you? Jake ain't gonna let them take it with them. There'll be enough ammo to last for years.

As long as they keep the power running at the Stereolithography Plant and the raw materials are available on Pandora they can keep producing most of what they had before.

Both Jake and Norm were using firearms with their avatars although I believe they were the larger side-mounted guns from Trudy's banshee, the ones that you see Wainfleet prepping early in the movie and operating during the attack on Hometree. Regular firearms would be too small for the Na'vi to use, their hands and fingers would be too large. Of course, the Na'vi wouldn't use firearms or any of the Sky People weapons even if they could. The useful equipment would be the scientific and non-military technologies.

As long as they have fuel for the power plant, that is.
Here's my Avatar fan fiction. Give it a read, if you're so inclined.

All those weapons would sure be some kind protection against Palulukan, althought it seemed pretty smart when it threw away Jake's gun

My thing on this big "cat" was the weapon Jake was using was a LOT bigger gun than the other marine carried. It was fix mounted on the side of the chopper.

When Jake let go a couple long bursts the "tracers" did not bounce off the creature, they just magically disappeared. They apparently did NO damage at that close range. Yet the Colonel killed one easily with his AMP's knife. I understand their "bones" are re-inforced with a natural occuring carbon fiber...

But their skin "ain't. Jakes heavy caliber weapons should have either taken the big cat out or at least wounded it enough to make it realize this wasn't easy prey after all. And the thing about it "grabbing Jakes gun in it's mouth" while he was firing was a bit too much Cameron. LOL Inject a modicum of realism into that scene.

One other thing that bothered me. Jake was a VETERAN Recon Marine. The Colonel called that some "mean bush". You have just gotten attacked by something your high caliber heavy gun couldn't stop...So you think walking around on the jungle floor AT NIGHT is a good idea soldier???? Did Jake's stint in the wheelchair cause him to lose his memory and training??

First thought I had was why don't you find you a nice tall tree and shinny up as high as you can, find you a crotch as high up as you can and play like a dead snake.... You are in a jungle full of alien predators. Why not try to mask your scent with local plants. He was in a Navi body so likely only effect would be to mask his scent. A nice defensible place high in a tree would offer far batter chance at survival than being on the ground with lush plantlife hiding predators, etc.

I know. I know some of predators can climb. But an entire pack can't attack you at once high up in a tree. Just a thought.
