Why didn't Tsu-Tey Fight for Neytiri

He and Jake have a square off with staffs in the script. Tsu'Tey challenges him right after seeing the two of them the morning after they mate. Actually, I've seen a brief clip of Laz Alonso(Tsu'Tey) and Sam Worthington filming this in their motion capture suits, with Laz leaping in the air, bringing his staff on Sam's. It was in one of the making of videos can't remember which. It was less than a second long, but after reading the script there was no question that's what it was.

I suggest you read the script, or at least that part. Really cool imaging how that scene would play out as I read it. Obviously they planned for Jake and Tsu'Tey fighting at one point, but it got cut along the way along with other scenes.

Unfortunately they could only fit so much content into the film :( Maybe we'll see it in the extended edition, or at the least probably some, raw footage of them sparring if only in their motion capture suits.

Agree with this. In the script, Tsu'tey challenges Jake. And in the movie, he gets pretty pissed too. To the point where he wants to kill Jake. So I think he was really angry, but he couldn't take their mating back haah.

I'm sure he was pretty pissed off, as is evident by the apparent deleted scene. But in the end, it all comes down to choice, and even if he chose Neytiri, she would have to choose him as well. And we all know whom she chose.

I don't think it ever crossed his mind that Neytiri would actually go through with it and do what she did. Once it had happened, however, there was nothing he could do. Other than kill Jake maybe... not sure how that would affect things, if Neytiri would go back to available, so to speak. Not that she would touch Tsu'Tey if he killed Jake.

IMHO Tsu'Tey was the typical male who canNOT read female signs

He saw & suspected NOTHING until it was too late.

IMHO the very first time in the movie that Neytiri unambiguously shows interest is just after she flies to the mountain & jumps off the Ikran, before the waterfall -

Jake smiles at her & she smiles back - it's a very alluring, but shy & secretive smile

She turns her head, and STOPS smiling - because there's Tsu'Tey.

Then Tsu'Tey (oblivious to what just happened) says "JakeSully will go first"

Yes, I think that in that moment, is when Tsu`tey realized what was going to happen... The way Neytiri smiled at Jake and he greeted her, and then how they were flying playfully together on their ikrans...
Perhaps he realized of their relationship then, but could not imagine it could go much further than that...

I agree that Neytiri probably didn't like Tsu'tey that much, with her reaction when we first see him, and when Jake gets disconnected from his avatar, Neytiri was ready to kill Tsu'tey to save Jake.
