    Default Two tsaheylu "ports"?

    Hello!

I know this thread probably already exists, but I always wonder why every animal except the Na'vi has two tsaheylu "ports". The Na'vi always connects to one of them, but is there any reason for the second one? Thankful for replies!

They said the left one was for tsahaylu and the right one was for balance (symmetry).

Not trying to start an argument, but that doesn't really make sense. I mean, there must be a better reason than that. If there isn't, why wouldn't the animals just have one in the back of their heads like the Na'vi?
I may not be as excited about Avatar as I use to be. But, I will never forget that it changed my life.

I thought about it, and the only conclusion I could reach was; They have one for Tsaheylu, and one for mating. However, this doesn't make any sense either, as they should be able to do it just like the Na'vi, and have on central for both purposes.

One thing I've been curious about: Obviously Na'vis can bond with larger animals (Toruk,Thanator) but what about smaller animals??? You know those small ikran-like birds that jake&co flew past over the water? Their queues must be quite alot smaller than the Na'vis, same thing with Viperwolds and who knows all the other small animals.

Also, I wonder if Eywa intended from the start that only the Na'vi would be able to bond with animals. I meen... what now, just if, when a lets say Thanator would be hunting a alone Hammerhead. What if the two queues would come in contact with each other while the Thanator was attacking?? Would they seriously be bonded and not kill the other??? Cause that's how it works with Na'vi > Ikran, Toruk , Pa'li.

And this brings up another thought of mine. Do the Pandoran animals also mate with queues?? Or do they only mate "humans-style"?

most likely no use, but rather something that happenned due to evolution. Many organisms on earth also have useless features. Humans can walk without their 3 middle toes, the apendix has no use (although scientists are studying this) and there are other examples but i just don't know them. Maybe it has something to do with the mating of the animals?
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.

I had that thought too, that it may have something to do with the mating of the animals. But maybe it is a useless appendage, due to evolution, or maybe the Na'vi are weird and only use the one side. But I'm leaning toward the mating of the animal thing.
