Thank you very much for the information. However, I was actually looking for more specific information which I got from here. I have already checked the pandora for it. I am wanting is detailed plans. A layout of the meeting places, living spaces, area by area descriptions of how the Omaticaya live within the grove that comprises Hometree

i was just thinking about this but unlike trees on Earth, the hometree has a spiral going through the middle and it's quite hollow inside. I wonder if the spiral is what contains the xylem and phloem and the links between the spiral and the inner wall is what allows flow of water and photosynthesis products to move to and from the leaves.... maybe we well find out more about hometree in the novel![]()
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.
Well from the movie, the spiral has spots that split off to various levels. The link I mentioned above has a lot of Avatar concept art.http://www.benprocter.com/avatar/screen-graphics/
Thanks for the link. Find more post them, again thanks alot.

wow....nice link,Mark. haven't seen some of the pics on that site before.some new edit ideas,i think.
anyway,i was looking back through some of these older threads, and i can't believe i ever missed this one. *sigh* i have always been fascinated by the intricate and beautiful wildness of the Hometree structure from it's underroots meeting hall,to the ground-level catherdral,to the spiral staircase,to the living areas, and ikran roost on the top. i surely hope to see the Omaticaya Clan find a new Hometree, maybe one even more beautiful and bigger.
awesome sig courtesy of Ney's Photographer,Prowler.
I heard somewhere before that Hometree might be made up of different trees that grew together, or something like that.
