This is a good question. Do you think they make it or not? I guess they make tsahaylu, otherwise, why do they have them in the first place?

yes, Na'vi do so why not animals as well? The Na'vi are most likely evolved from animals and in our world, animals do all sorts of things to form a bond so the Pandoran animals would do so as well.
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.
I bet the animals do with their young. Some animals on earth are born knowing what to do (like spiders, turtles, etc) but others (most mammals) have to teach their young how to survive. If this is also the case on Pandora, they could share their knowledge through tsahaylu and make the learning process quicker.
I once saw a documentary of a lioness caring for a baby gazelle. As difficult to believe as it is, yeah it is true. Has stuff like that resulted from tsahaylu from bonding?
yes, the prolemuris has just one queue, attached to the head like the na'vi. which has lead many to believe that the na'vi are evolved from them little monkeys. hehe
I don't know how they use it, but sure they have to, or why would it have evolved in the first place?
