I don't understand the negativity around Avatar. It just seems like a 'jump on the band-wagon' kind of thing. The funny thing is no matter how many people say they dislike the film it still made almost $3 billion, plus I bet 3/4 of them would still go and see the sequel.

In a bad Economy may I add. Can you Imagine if Avatar was released in a good Economy?

I know so many people who wanted to see it but couldn't because they could not afford it. I took as many as I could I just was limited in time and money.

Bashing Avatar from a story perspective is one thing, but what really annoys me is when they say its stars were lackluster. Jake and Neytiri were anything but lackluster! You could not possibly have the kind of success Avatar enjoyed without very lovable characters.

Haters always gonna hate. A lot of people there go on about how they story wasn't great and was all political and just a pretty light show blah blah blah. Being really damn picky. Here's the thing, if you sit down, watch a movie and enjoy the damn thing then it's done it's job. Yes they all may be correct with what they've said. I don't care. I enjoy watching Avatar and that's all that matters in the end.

This whole year was a blur to me, its like it did not happen. It did, and here I am. :/ Still, Avatar has it's faults, but the goal of the movie was to entertain and make money. It did both, so why hate on it.

I have said it before and saying it again lol. It's all to do with Avatars HUGE success. Anytime have a movie or whatever with such huge success/popularity it automatically pulls out all the haters. If the movie was not so popular, no one would care lol. People are always gonna hate, they got nothing better to do sadly. I read most of it and the haters always have the same old argument.. "The story sucks" lol, seriously is that the best they can come up with?. It probably sucks because too dumb to fully understand it all and see Avatar for what it really is..
