Grace Returning In Avatar 2

The only way I can think of is that Eywa must download Grace's consciousness into her Avatar at some point after the events of the first film. The other possibility would be as a ghost possibly or a kinda dream when Jake links with the Tree of Souls. I think she'll be proud when she discovers that Jake became Toruk Makto (if she didn't already know) and that Jake is Oloektan of the Omaticya clan

Hrm, I've heard the rumors that she might be like Obi Wan in a way, coming back as a ghost. However, I'm also wondering if it's going to be like the original scriptment, with her coming back in the flesh. I;m just wonder how it's going to be. Well, we can all wait for the trailer/screenshots/news of the movie. 2013 here we come...

i sincerely want to see Grace in the Avatar sequels,as she was such a compelling character as a scientist with a full cup,yet a big heart,and such the rebel raging against the corporate machine. i loved her mother figure approach to Jake,and i didn't have dry eyes when he lost his friend,as did Neytiri and her People. i really want to see her in some capacity,as part of Eywa,and as one of the People,whether in body or spirit form.

^agree, I don't think a ghost is gonna fit in avatar. Its very spiritual but something like that. that is just... I don't know. its just doesn't fit in avatar but I'm sure james won't dissapoint us

Keep in mind Grace spent many years on Pandora before Jake arrived. I suspect we're going to see some of that history.
