Na'vi vision

I notice that Na'vi and avatar eyesight extends into the ultraviolet in the original scriptment ("Phalanxia, the deadly projectile plant, shows up bright as a neon sign in the ultraviolet-sensitive avatar vision") but in the Pandorapedia it has been altered to the other end of the spectrum: "Their eyes are large and sensitive to wavelengths of light inclusive of the human visual range, and beyond into near-infrared." I wonder why that was changed?

if it's the Pandorapedia from the game then it's probably because the game has alot of inconsistecies (ubisoft probably didn't consult James Cameron or others much) I would stick with the original scripment
