What about somthing like the sydney opera house? Or the Burj Khalifa sticking out of the desert?
I think they would be impressed at the very least.
Just imagine... a city built entirely of stone, painted in thousands of colors, with massive pyramids, built on an island in the middle of a lake, canals instead of roads... It was like the Venice of the new world.
And they even ripped out your heart with a glass knife too!
By the time the flim took place the world had no places like this left it was overpopulated and full of poverty the entire planet
Earth has a lot of beuty.
Sadly though it has a lot of ugliness all caused by humans.
If Na'vi do exist or any other form of life in the galaxy I hope the never run into us.
We are the cause for the largest mass extinction is history......
Even though I do not believe in this 2012 end of the world crap. I do hope that the human race ends soon......So their is a little part of me that is hoping that December 22 will be the end of man kind.
You watch movies where they make strange alien creatures bad guys but I am sure if any other life new about us they would have horror movies about us....

From it we learned just how horrible the idea of genocide is. It is quite likly that we could come across an alien race that never learned that lesson or simply couldn't understand why we would care about the death of another group than ours.
removing humaity from the earth would simply ensure the complete erradication of all life in our solar system when Sol runs out of fuel (unless another human-like race shows up first, but then you are back to my previous point about other sapient species). If our technology progresses far enough it is entirly possible we could save our ecosystem and restart it on another world.
If Humans go extinct it eliminates life in the solar system? I don't think so.

It would guarentee that nothing of earth would remain after Sol burns out except for voyager.
From what we know there is no life except us in our solar system so it would eliminate all life

oh yeah,i often wonder about this too,and you would hear my ironic chuckle echoing softly in the afterlife,as some distant alien civilization eradicates us as easily as we swat that pesky fly. lol

Yea I think the main thing that they would notice is how "minuture" nature is on Earth compared to Pandora, most of our trees wold seem like oversized bushes to them, all of our animals would seem "cute" to them as they too would be smaller then most of thiers, they would be fasincated by things like the fur and the non glowing nature of most of our above ground plant's/ animals.(they would like lightning bugs alot I would imagine as they would be Earth's little reminder of Pandora). As for other bimoes on Earth other than "rainforest, and forest", like deserts, tundra ect. it would be interesting what they would think as even though Pandora has a large amount of rainforest, it does has other biomes that are not seen in the movie. One more thing that they would find weird about the Eath is the amount that you are "stuck" on the ground, as there are no "Ikran" equivelent to fly on and no floating mountains on which to peruse the skys. the only way to fly on earth is by technology.
