Na'vi culture and humor

I wonder if Na'vi, like humans at times poke fun at their culture?

For example look at Edwin San Juan poking fun at Filipino culture. This dude reminds me of one of my uncles, always the sarcastic jokester. Edwin San Juan - About Filipinos and Asians.flv - YouTube The bit he says on Balut, yep. my relatives once tried to get me to try that. No thanks.

Anyway, do Na'vi at times jab at themselves?

that guy is hilarious XD i saw the one about him talking about his grandparents "wut da puk is a ninja turtle?" but yes the Na'vi do have a sense of humour, don't know if it's to the level of humans where we make fun of everyone and everything but here's what i read from the activist's survival guide concerning the banana fruit:
"it is considered good manners to offer the find to a friend or loved one. it is also customary to refuse such an offer while insisting that Eywa for the fruit to be enjoyed by the finder. a common joke is to pretend to accept the offered utu mauti, and begin to take a bite before then declining and giving it back to the lucky finder. everyone laughs at this pretend social transgression, because to accept the gift would be extremely rude."

Just imagine a Na'vi version of Edwin San Juan, the guy in the video. He pokes fun at his relatives. He makes fun of his uncle in one vid. His uncle is nearly dying and says "When I die you can have my house." Ediwn: F*** yeah! That house has three bedrooms you know what I'm talkin' about.

Haha nice thread loved all the posts ^_^ I'm sure they have humour aswell, just look at Tsu'tey!, man, I just LOVE his attitude, he's ironic and funny ^_^ Also that deleted scene where they do 'drinking games' is funny XD And ofcourse Neyney is sweet and hilarious too many times during Jake's training There's one part I always laugh at. When she jumps down and falls on the huge leaves right? Then Jake says 'you gotta be kidding me' and follows her, and after his mess lol, the bow falls first, and it's funny to see Neyney's expression LMAO she' s just standing there and moves out the way haha listening and looking through the leaves waiting for him to arrive from the sky XD then he gets up all confused and she just stares at him with a straight face ahah She's great <3
