> Irayo, ma aysmukan. I got then "Stand! Brothers, so that you to us your meaning arusey would/could show."
So I think that means: "Stand! Brothers, so that you could show us your meaning."? If he'd replaced arusey with anìngay, it would make a little more sense: "Stand, brothers, so that you could show us your meaning/goal/reason of existence"
> Good, good. I'm liking Na'Vi. And I believe I've seen prrton's signature on learnnavi.org forums, but it wasn't him chatting on the brazilian Na'Vi chat (unless he knows how to speak portuguese)![]()

> Am I the only one that can't fully understand the topic marker rule? It's kind like the soccer's Offside rule... I just can't understand it...

lol I've been trying to learn a little bit of na'vi - i find it a very soothing language and to practise I've been speaking to the horse's in itthey seem to like it - but i think it may just be the tone i'm using!
I'm def gonna get the guide - I was looking at it in Waterstones but I didn't get it because i think my bf is getting it for me for valentines! - however they currently have £5 off it making it about £10!![]()

> I still don't get the topic marker. Could someone help, please?
> The dative is kinda shady as well... But I think I got it right:
> I should use the dative (-ru) to mark whom something is given to or made for, and that's it?

This has some good information on topic markers:
Pronouns (and Topic Markers) for Beginners
Also,
Topic marker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and,
Na'vi/Nouns - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks
Hope those explain it to you, there is also some information on the Dativ on the same page in Na'vi/Nouns - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks
It's a nice language... I just printed the .pdf with the lexicon and pronouns guide. I will try to read it and understand it as soon as more free time comes, and after these exams... I'm fed up totally with them.)
