This is a discussion thread about: Do the Na'vi have a "Satan"? inside the Na’vi Culture & Language forum, part of the AVATAR Movie Forums category. Originally Posted by Palulukan_Taronyu Yeah, the RDA . DUH!! maybe if i got hold of a colonel coffeecup action figure, and ...

Now if the Na'vi have the equivalent of a "Satan" then do they also have their equivalent of the "Church Lady?"
Here's my Avatar fan fiction. Give it a read, if you're so inclined.

After doing some research, I'd say it was unlikely the 'Church Lady' was a satire of highly insecure conservative christians who attacked anything they felt as a running counter to their views. Unless their this an alternative religion/society on Pandora that Cameron forgot to mention, they Na'vi wouldn't be insecure enough to act like the 'Church Lady'. The situation might change though if the other Avatars start to intergrate into Na'vi society, while they might respect the Na'vi they'll still try and 'improve' things which might rub some Na'vi the wrong way.
