Default Do the Na'vi have a "Satan"?

So as I was studying and listening to some Slayer ^_^ i got this idea that since the Na'vi worship Eywa, would there be another god which opposes Eywa, sort of like God and Satan in Christianity. probably not but i thought it might be an interesting thing to discuss. I can't think of anything that this "Satan" would try and tempt a Na'vi with or convince a Na'vi to do, maybe betrayal or stealing or killing. Anyone want to discuss?
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.

I believe the primary evil the Na’vi would have experienced would be the introduction of humans. So yes, they did have something who opposes Eywa… Quaritch... Of course, adding to what Sempu said; the information about the time of great sorrow is a bit fuzzy and could definitely be a point of interest in future installments.

LMAO...have you been reading my mind? No kidding as I was seriously thinking about the same thing the last time I watched Avatar. When Neytiri talks to Jake about Toruk Makto (Neytiri's great, great grandfather) bringing the clans together in a time of "great sorrow." I would think it was before the humans/RDA came to Pandora. Maybe there was another "evil clan" on Pandora and tried to overtake or drive out the other clans but with the help of Toruk Makto they were able to abolish and drive them to extinction? I am purely making a guess on that but those are my thoughts.

^^Very similar if not the same as I was thinking. Perhaps with Toruk Makto and Eywa, the Na'vi were able to defeat the evil Satan, sorta like a Pandoran "Fall from grace" so to speak.

When I first read the thread title I almost immedeatly thought "Na'vi satan= Quaritch" ROFL
But when I actually read the whole thing, I thought it made sense. In my opinion, everything has an opposite. Good/evil, cold/warm, Eywa/Na'vi version of satan.

I will be remembered ....I fought with Toruk Makto. We were brothers. And he was my Last Shadow...

Sorry about my terrible english, I'm norwegian.

To me, it seems like Pandora was a kind of fighting ground for alien species, I mean unobtainium must be like gold out in the galaxy, if indeed Cameron will touch upon other alien races, and probably one of the reasons why the Na'vi language has more than a few words pretaining to "alien" (it's probably deals with the other meaning for alien, but I'll leave that up for the sequals).

I'm almost wondering if it's more of an Anti-Eywa, a kind of Yin to her Yang so to say...
It means "Wind Rider" in Na'vi.

Most religions whether they be Earth of Alien have good and evil to them. To appreciate the good you have to have evil.

Oh, well I didn’t go with an evil spiritual entity because Eywa exists in a tree... That’s not to say that the evil has to be in that form. I suppose using Quaritch is too obvious. I’m just having a difficult time picturing an evil tree. Like somewhere on Pandora there’s some evil tree that no one has anything to do with.

(Jake points to an old mangled tree in the woods)

    Jake: “What’s that?”

Neytiri: “That’s utral txan tìkawng; the tree of great evil. We mustn’t go near that tree.”

Jake: “Why? It’s JUST a tree...”

(The tree starts shaking violently and screaming in an evil demonic voice)

Evil Tree: “AAAHHHH ARRRRR AAAHHHH DIEEEE!”

    Jake: “Oh...” O_O

Neytiri: “Yeah, like I said; evil tree.”
