Urgent! Dam to destroy native peoples of brazil! *please* sign the petition!!!

Okay, so you may have seen this on one of the other Avatar message boards, but I'm posting it here.

Brazil is going to try and construct a dam that will flood and destroy the home of almost a dozen native tribes and destroy ancient river villages along the Xingu river, as well as drying up the riverbed upstream, keeping water away from other who need it.

Avatar might be fiction, but this isn't. We can't hop onto giant flying lizards and blow things up, but we can do this, and it will make a difference.
