Oil Reserves Sidestep U.S. Vessels

WASHINGTON — In its hurry to transport millions of barrels of oil from federal stockpiles to stabilize world oil prices earlier this summer, the Obama administration has repeatedly bypassed federal law by allowing nearly all the oil to move on foreign-owned vessels, drawing protests from domestic maritime operators.
The move, which saved time and money for the oil companies that bought the oil, took potential work from more than 30 American cargo vessels and as many as 400 sailors,

Thats the way of it Transcend! Like almost all british manufacturing is done abroad by 'third world' economies. While the dole queues in Britain get longer and longer.
The Corps don't give a stuffed fig, they are getting the job done at bargain basement prices. The government is at the beck and call of the Moguls and dare not rock the boat too much, in case they get tipped out.
