big suprise.. washington sells out to the corporation again.. always maintaining we don't have other options.. and never mentioning that the previous administration trashed the clean air act..



WASHINGTON — President Obama abandoned a contentious new air pollution rule on Friday, buoying business interests that had lobbied heavily against it, angering environmentalists who called the move a betrayal and unnerving his own top environmental regulators.

The president rejected a proposed rule from the Environmental Protection Agency that would have significantly reduced emissions of smog-causing chemicals.

um,Obama has to start his campaign for re-election,so he has to start pandering to the interests that elected him in the first place,such as businesses and labor unions,lol. the rest of his term is pretty much tied up squandering our tax dollars on his re-election campaign,just like every president since LBJ and the Great Society. typical. the dude parades around his hope and 'change',and the only change we get is more of our hard-earned scraps of paper being changed from our wallets to the gov't purse. *sighs*

If you use tax dollars to run for reelection, you have to use a set amount of funds. Since nobody in their right mind runs an that low an amount of money, the public election fund remains untouched. Obama has the Democratic party and its donors to pay for his campaign.

you're forgetting the endless campaign trips,fuel for Air Force One,parts and wear on that storied plane,Secret Service overtime pay,endless new staffers for the campaign,back-room deals for votes,meals and hotel costs for him and entourage,and a whole slew of logistical items not covered by democrat money...that money is only used for tv,magazine,and internet ads,primarily. same with any president,regardless of twisted ideology and hack status,lol.

I believe Obama is a caring human being who wanted to do good for his fellow man and the planet we all share, but Washington is a cyclone that is literally sucking the life out of him. I look at my government and wonder if anyone can accomplish anything meaningful in that romper-room daycare of a capital. They are like babies! Running around, making noise, don't know what to do.

With an atmosphere that poisoned by hate and stupidity-aka politics-it wouldn't surprise me if genuine people elected to go to Washington burst into flames, upon arrival, from spontaneous combustion.
