Something about Anything

Hi all, I just posted on Ally's "Damn the Society" thread about setting up a thread about anything you want to talk about, because many times we have derailed Ally's thread ( sorry Ally ) and many other threads as well.
So I was thinking that anytime someone thinks that they and a few others are starting to derail a thread and don't think it warrants starting another thread, bring it here, or if you just want to talk to someone else about anything that could progress into many other topics, bring it here as well.

I don't know if anyone thinks this a good idea or not but I have thought this a few times, so it is here if you want to use it guys, party on.

This thread might be a good idea, until it gets derailed. =D

Not sure exactly what you envision with this, because if I understand your purpose then I can see this thread becoming somewhat of a slower chat box, sort of a chaotic, incoherent tapestry of littered arguments and unrealized ideas. Wow, am I making any sense?

I don't participate in the"Damn the society" thread that you refer to, so maybe I should let someone else chime in here who has a better idea of what use this thread could be. Maybe this thread makes perfect sense.

But I can't shake the notion that if people want to go completely off topic or discuss a different angle, they should just go ahead and start a new thread that focuses on what they want to talk about. Actually, I thought that was what people were doing in general, but maybe there's a reluctance to splinter certain long running threads.

hmmm^^ that is a tough one.. i havnt really had a best day.. ive had some really good days but not a best one lol i do remember when i met my idol tho.. and he was ever so sweet! it was an amazing day!!
