if she would give me a nice salary and medical benefits,i could help her make a Robert Downey Jr.-style comback. RDJ came back in his 40s and is freakin' Tony Stark,for cryin' out loud,after fifteen years of drugs and self-destruction,and Lohan is only 25,and at least knows she has destroyed her career....it took RDJ all those years to see the light. unfortunately,for women in showbiz for the most part,they are severely limiited in career shelf-life by youth and looks,unless you are Meryl Streep,Helen Mirren,and the awesomely talented Zoe Saldana. male actors can play huge roles into their 80s,but most women are finished by 30,unless you have tons of talent and charisma...e.g. Helen Mirren as the Queen of England.


i still hope Lohan makes a comeback,love her acting and film presence,but time is not on her side.

yeah,it is sad,especially in showbiz where everyone around you is a leech,enabler,user,and riding your coattails til you crash the train or the money is gone. the only way to get out is to find some good people to surround yourself,which is hard to come by in Tinseltown. in RDJ's case,he got married to a woman from the real world,and admits that his new child and wife basically saved his life and brought him back from the edge of the abyss.


people love a comeback story,but first you gotta clean house and start over...

well,i'm probably one of her few long-time fans left,and there is some good news,if any of you out there still like her. she had a court update today on her probation for dui,court went well and has one month left,probation ends on March 29th,after five years,geez. the career is not over,as she is hosting Saturday Night Live on March 3rd,for the fourth time,and is in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a movie,though i'm not sure if it is for theater release or a television movie,as she has done both in the past. i do hope she makes a comeback,as she is a good actress and screen persona,if you can forget about all her personal issues and trashmedia delight in her downfall. fortunately,i'm one of those people who can watch actors/actresses in films,and not give a hoot about their offscreen life. i love movies!!!
