Jealous much? Yes. Damn, I want this so bad. How much?

I've been waiting since the first of the year and finally got it started a week ago. I went and got the Na'vi dots done in UV ink in a pattern all my own. So far it's been about a week and in normal light it looks kind of cool though down my arms it resembles track marks. However under black light it's pretty bright and has gotten rave reviews. Once healed it'll be invisible except under black light and certain sun light or florescent light conditions. Next up is my chest, stomach and legs.
I'll try to get some better pics once I get some help so consider these teasers

For the TL;DR crowd here's a quick FAQ section.
Yes, but only here and there. Tattoo pain is different for everyone but something like the Na'vi dots should be tolerable for just about anyone. The needles are only against the skin long enough for you to figure out if it hurts or not then it's on to the next one.I want to get this done, does it hurt?
It is safe only if you use the Crazy Chameleon or Skin Candy inks. Those are the only inks that are FDA approved. My tattoo was done using the Skin Candy ink which is easier to work with.Is the UV/Blacklight reactive ink safe?
So far from what I have seen it lasts as long as most other tattoo inks. I have seen 10+ year old tattoos that still glow under UV light. How long does it last?
The ink I used is invisible under normal light and white under UV light. There are 7 color Skin Candy inks available that are visible under normal light and glow under black light. Can you see it Under normal light?
I went to Josh @ Sideshow Studios, 5635 Freeport Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95822 Phone: 916-391-6400Who did the work?
If you are in the San Francisco or Sacramento CA area I highly recommend this shop and if you go there tell them the guy with the Avatar tattoo sent you!
You will have to call around your local tattoo parlors to find one that works with UV ink. You can also check google maps in your area for "black light tattoo" or "UV tattoo" which might help.I'm not in your area where can I get a UV tattoo?
My arms and back were $200 including tip but it may vary from one shop to the next. It's important to cover time/money concerns with the tattooist doing the work. How much did it cost?

'I have already chosen. But this woman must also choose me'
'She already has'
'Mawey! Na'viyä, mawey!'
Now that is hardcore. I salute you.
If you're not living on the edge you are taking up too much space.
It's better to have loved and lost rather than to have never loved at all.
Work was done by Josh @ Sideshow Studios, a totally awesome guy, and one of the gals that owns the joint is an Avatar fan too.

They were awesome at the shop and if you're in the NorCal area they are the best. If you tell them the Avatar tattoo guy sent you I could get a discount next time aroundPrice wise it was about $200 including tip because it didn't take long, an hour for my back and 30min or so for both arms.
Wow! they look so cool.![]()
All energy is only borrowed, and one day you have to give it back.
wow, that is beautiful. wouldn't it look wicked cool on someone's face? once it healed, that would just be so cool.
Be kinder than necessary, everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
