As strange it may sound I don't feel like to play Wow anymore after seeing Avatar. I tried to log in the day after I saw the movie but it's seemed all empty and useless...

Anyone feels the same? Any idea why this happens?

I haven't played WoW since May 2009. However, I think I would lose the interest to play as well
There is no single word in the English vocabulary that can fully describe the true magnificence of Avatar!!

I've only played it for about 1 month , which was free because I had just bought it and it bored me pretty much so I stopped at Lvl 27 I think , it's a pretty one-sided game though I think .

But I also lost the will to play other Online-Games somehow , guess it's because in the back of your head you realized that there's more important stuff to do actually .

I quit wow shortly after seeing Avatar. The game just didn't make sense anymore. I was playing for what? Fictional items that didn't exist? There were far better things that I could be doing.

Im feeling the same right now (Thought its only 3 days since i saw the movie and im easily... well, you could probably say distracted, by that kind of things...), thought some part of the game still draws me, Healing and just flying around ect., but most of it seems meaningsless... PvP? Killing enemies and/or healing your allies, noble enough, but allowing them to slaughter other players for what? The possibility of 3 X marks and some honor, which enables them to kill more enemies...
Instances? Well... my role in this still seems interesting enough, but still... healing them so they can tank/dps the mobs, for a few items and some emblems, whcih they can buy worthless gear with...
Thought this might of course change in some days if im bored...
Like professions... i kinda enjoy leveling my JC in the moment, and sometimes flying around is funny enough, and doing MC is nearly always funny... 2manning raggy ftw! xD

I never played WoW, but I played another MMORPG. I lost interest in playing it after I saw Avatar.
