Sounds similar to this comic I read which ended with a kid dissing The Lord of the Rings and the person showing the film to the kid getting angry; which is reasonable.
I remember trying to get people to look at certain animes or shows or movies I like, only to get a really stupid answer from them; especially considering that some of these people were college students and not children.

I feel sorry for you...Yeah definitely, No way you can watch any film properly with kids around to be honest haha especially if it's AVATAR, and I bet it really Ruined it all of it for you :///
