The movie's events take place in the year 2154.
As far as I know, the events in the game takes place in the past, kind of like a prequel to Avatar.
First saw Avatar on January 7th, 2010. Seen it 37 times since.

I seem to remember reading/seeing somewhere online that the RDA has been on Pandora for about 25 years (Earth years) on Pandora prior to the events in the movie.

Actually, since Grace has been on Pandora for 30 years, I would say either 30 years or more. Maybe she got there and never thought about leaving
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.
