@na´vi burke: know what you mean, i´m not interested anymore in evry thing i was normally, but my biggest passions like football, you´d say soccer^^, or my team and so on i can´t and don´t want to give up!!and i think thats a big help, to have things which build me up, which remind me of my "old" life, so that i can combine things i loved to do with things i love to do now(like spending time in nature) and i would like to do!!because despite my new attitude to life i dont want to lose fun!!not easy to express, but i hope you´ll understand!!i for myself will watch the hockey final tonight, although i´m german, but i like sports - it connects and gives hope and often it´s a reason to fight for a better world..

I'm watchin the finals tonight too (GO USA!). Although I long for the woods, the adventure and the simple life, I LOVE sports. I think it's one of the great things the world has right now. Look at the olympics, its pretty cool. I guess what I really long for is a native american type life. They played sports all the time.

    Stay thirsty my friends...

Same, my Grandma would tell me stories of when her father lived with the natives in Bankhead (Alberta) and I so badly wish I could experience that!

Agreed. I love what you said. It certainly is an experience, and while I haven't enjoyed the PAD itself so to speak, I have adored what Avatar has done for me - it seems to have awoken my senses in a way, and made me feel like the things I find important (things that other people find trivial; like spending time in nature etc.; stuff I think that is good for your soul, or inner being, or whatever you'd like to call it) are actually good things. It's just... I don't know, I'm very more relaxed about life now - I don't feel like I need to stress about work and money; as long as I stay true to myself and my morals and values then life's good =) And of course, it's still okay to dream about Pandora =D And I've really loved finding these forums - talking to people like you guys has been an enlightening and fantastic experience, too! I keep saying it, but I really think so; it's just so heart-warming to be able to chat to like-minded people. It's really nice :-)
Yeah, you ain't materialistic or superficial, like many people out there. Spending time with nature is soothing for the soul, although it really depends on your character. "Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet."
We're Visionaries (NF character types), N standing for iNtuition, and F standing for Feeling. I'll post the different NF personality types so you can see which one you are. If you're still curious, you can do the personality test on MyPersonality.info - Personality Types and Multiple Intelligences Tests & Information

Here are the different NF personality types:

    INFP - The "Dreamer"
INFPs are introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginitive, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.

    INFJ - The "Confidant"

INFJs, making up an estimated 1% of all people, are the most rare type (males even more so). They are introspective, caring, sensitive, gentle and complex people that strive for peace and derive satisfaction from helping others. INFJs are highly intuitive, empathetic and dedicated listeners. These traits tend to act as a "tell me what's wrong" sign on their
forehead, hence the nicknames Confidant, Counselor or Empath. INFJs are intensely private and deeply committed to their beliefs.

    ENFP - The "Advocate"

ENFPs are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental.

    ENFJ - The "Mentor"

ENFJs are externally focused, introspective, altruistic, positive and have excellent people skills. They place utmost importance on helping others grow. They are warm and have a natural desire to be supportive and encouraging. Being charismatic and posessing excellent language skills, they do well in leadership roles. ENFJs strive to enhance the lives of their human brethren.

And yep, I found it hard to rate Avatar considering I had mixed thoughts. I really have to separate Avatar into two when rating it. As a movie: 8/10. As an experience: 100/100
