Well that is what art is supposed to do. Which avatar clearly is. It is a spectacular piece of art that quite honestly not only making history but did it so by telling a great story and moving everyone who see's it.

I think this movie goes deep down into our very core, our primitive selves, when we used to live in Caves and Jungles, one with Nature. We all get this weird and familiar feeling from this movie, that makes us feel like Pandora is our true home, its because of our roots.

We have progressed so fast in Technology that we forgot who we realy are.

    Well said.

What are we really though? I mean I would like to think we were like the Na'vi, but I also know that we never will be like them... which in turn is depressing.

Exactly, we are all experiencing a fantastic and truly awe-inspiring moment in time together, that like this won't ever happen again in the same way, its really cool when you really just take it all in

The feeling might leave over time but the movie will stay with you for the rest of your life.
