I've studied enough anthropology, archaeology, and history to be cynical enough of humanity's progression that I would not want this.

You see I would love to END UP in the situation you have described however I feel it would not work if we just suddenly decided to do it.
People need to travel, to be on their own and to free themselves of materialism before you can do anything such as this. So if I took a 5 year period living rough and saw through it. I would be happy in such a tribe

Not everyone thinks like we do
Maybe it's that we overanalyze everything or that we're just messed up in the head. Too passionate about change...
