But I must say he was on of my least favorite characters in the movie.

Norm's conscience would not allow him to stand idly by while living,sentient,intelligent beings were going to be senselessly slaughtered for corporate profits,and a planet of scientific wonders and sheer beauty,was subjugated,mined,and ruined/polluted by those same evil profiteers,that is the true opposite of investigative science. i always say that Jake,Norm,Grace,Trudy,and Max,made the right decisions at the right time,given that they were really in no position to alter the course of human-Na'vi conflict,prior to the escalation of events leading to the destruction of Hometree.

I like norm, not as much as jake or neytiri etc, but I like him as a character. He want to help where he can. he isn't the warhead like jake. also he isn't the real scientist like grace. but the things that matters is that he is trying to do everything he can to do something right. doesn't matter if it is helping the omaticaya or searching something with grace
