i have, once and hopefully never again. because i was a dreamwalker by this point i thought it would only be another amazing movie watching experience, and during the film itself it was, but when it was over thats when the grapes turned sour lol

because what i realized was that, i went into the movie alone, and what was worse was that i walked out of the movie alone.

so for me my viewing of Avatar by myself wasnt the best, but i got over it because the film itself always fills me with hope and good feelings so i held on to those and it turned out ok

I have only gone to the movies once without somebody. I plan on going alone again on my next viewing.

For me, I'm always being conscious of the person who's watching the movie with me, which is distracting. It really varies from person to person whether or not you have a better experience at the movies with somebody or nobody at all.

First saw Avatar on January 7th, 2010. Seen it 37 times since.

I only watch it by myself, after my first viewing, it just felt RIGHT. I could really get lost, connect. I could really feel.

I'm just afraid that this PAD will be stronger than ever as I will be experiencing the movie all by myself.

i rather enjoy watching Avatar by myself, because i get to experience the film without people going, "wait, what just happened?" or "why is that chap doing that?" i see Avatar as a personal experience, so that's why i've always gone by myself.

as for if other people were in the cinema, sure there were. the crowd has gotten smaller as time has gone on obviously, but it's never been so full that i haven't had several seats or even rows next to me empty.

    > Watched it three times.
    > Second one was by myself. I found it better, because you can "digest" the images you just saw without having to talk to someone, or get distracted.

I like going to the movies alone. I've seen it at the IMAX 3 times alone. I enjoy the movie more because there's nobody next to me giving me a play by play of "that was bad-***," or "cool," or any of the other myriad of enthusiastic expressions that bring me out of whatever moment I'm having
