Avatar 2 Release Date Pushed Back to 2016

Executive Producer Jon Landau in a recent interview with Bleedingcool.com, has confirmed that AVATAR 2 is now at least 4 years away. This pushes AVATAR 2 back well into 2016. "Landau promised that Avatar 2 was going to showcase advanced technology, from the 3D camera system used to the CG and performance capture, but also in terms of a higher framerate. This, Landua says, is the new frontier that he and Cameron are most interested in pushing."

That's no good news fore sure. But who knows what it is good for, two years have already passed and "four years from now" doesn't automatically mean that it's gonna be DEC 2016! Just hope this forum will stay alive, well, I'm going to contribute my part!
