Trudy + Norm?

In one of the final drafts of the script, apparently so!:

HUMAN JAKE emerges from the LINK to see --

TRUDY and NORM caught IN THE ACT on Norm’s bunk. Norm blushes
and Trudy waves, pulling the blanket over their heads.

JAKE (V.O.)
Norm’s attitude has improved lately.

NORM works with JAKE at the small table in the SHACK kitchen.

What do you guys think of this?

It just doesn't fit. I don't know. Kind of weird.

really did not read the released script so far, not enough time, but this would only believable if they had spent time really together.

Dont know if there are few other scenes in the Script, but based on what we have seen in Avatar i say a clear "sounds not really true" for me.

There's a scene earlier on, where they're riding in the helicopter and Trudy is teaching Norm how to fly, and he's all nervous and whatnot. There may have been more but that's the only one I recall.

Hmmm, I'm not actually sure how I feel about this. :P

I dunno, I think it could work if it as you said, showed more scenes of them together, because as it stands, they just don't know each other properly. And I don't see a feisty girl like Trudy going for somebody like Norm, unless they had at least some history together.

Yeah, but I'd call that smalltalk, more than depth to their relationship.
Though he obviously 's her.
