quaritch's scars

dont know if this was answered in any accolades or the forums but how did quaritch get his scars? none of the animals on pandora seem like they have 3 claws, and anything that does (like a thanator) doesnt seem likely he'll survive an encounter

Nahh but seeing its Quaritch I would guess he exterminated the race that gave him that scar.

I think it was a viperwolf. The scar looks about the same size as the claws of a viperwolf. just a guess.

Actually I always thought it was a Na'vi and that was part of the reason why he hated them so much.

But it could have been a Viperwolf, just about anything else is too big, I think.

I think it was a Nantang, and did first time I saw the film. I remember seeing Quaritch's scars and thinking "ouch"
But when I saw the pack of Nantang's about to attack Jake, I immediately thought that must have been what attacked the Colonel. But that is of course, my interpretation.
