I believe so, i've been a fan of catgirls since i was 4 25 years ago when i had a crush on Cheetara, Cleo from Heathcliff and M'ress from the Star Trek Cartoon and find them fascinating yet beautiful humanoids even in mythology.Back in the 80's and 90's, i found it funny yet amazing how sexy they use to make cartoon catgirls as you had Cheetara, Cleo, M'ress, Felicia from Darkstalkers, Kitten Kaboodle from Talespin, Kit Mambo from Animalympics, Aishia Clan Clan from Outlaw Star, The Puma Twins, April O'Neil as a mutant catgirl from that one episode of Ninja Turtles called "Catwoman from Channel 6" (Remember that?), Mirage from Aladdin The Series, the Swat Kats girls mainly Callie Briggs, Bagi from the anime "Bagi The Mighty Beast of Nature" and even Selina Kyle aka Catwoman as an ACTUAL Cat-Woman from that Batman The Animated Series episode called "Tyger Tyger" (Remember that one?).Yet there are a few now such as that one on Bleech, Cheetah on Justice League, Kitty on TUFF Puppy and now Neytiri.

Forget the cat girl part. I'd say she's the best animated character, full stop, in recent memory.

The "feline" aspect of Neytiri became all but background noise to me, something barely registered by my senses. Her bright eyes seem very natural and human with deep expression. I remeber a good deal of them, namely Cheetara, Aisha, and I think one more.

However, when I see Neytiri I sense more of a combination of different traits: some of them are cat-like, some are like a lemur, others are human. She's one of the most unique alien species I have seen in a long time.
