Grace dies, of course, but what did they do with her avatar? If they are keeping it for the sequal, how do they keep it alive? You can't feed an avatar that's not functioning so.......what happens?

maybe put her in cryo (if there is one for Avatars)
There are many dangers on Pandora, and one of the subtlest is that you may come to love it too much.
The Hell's Gate of the RDA is still operationnal. With the help of humans who stays in Pandora, they will put Grace's body in the amnio tank, so the Avatar can continue to live normally.
oh yeah, amino tank. completely forgot about those things XD

Yeah, like what was said earlier. I'm sure they brought her avatar back to hells gate and put her in an amnio tank.
But why would they do that?
I mean, as far as anyone knows, Grace is "dead" (i.e., with Eywa) and her Avatar body is now essentially useless.
There would be no overt reason for either the Na'vi or the remaining humans to essentially put the Avatar "on ice" for an indefinite period, basically wasting resources and a whole amnio tank to do so.
My guess is they buried her Avatar along with her old human body.

I do run Children of Eywa, and because of un-resolvable host issues, it hasn't been up for quite some time. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Idk, they could have put it in the tank for storage, or perhaps euthanized and buried it. Kinda could go either way tbh.

This. Let's not forget there is another issue regarding what Jake and/or the Na'vi did or did not do with the Avatar after the ceremony at the Tree in which Grace becomes one with Eywa.
Specifically, it's the issue of time, more specifically it is the issue of the timeline of events that transpired both before and after the ceremony at the tree.
Let's recap what happened and when, that way will show why it is pretty unlikely Jake and/or the Na'vi did anything with the Avatar after Grace become one with Eywa.
1) Jake and Neytiri come back to Hometree after mating at the Tree of Voices and when they return, the Omaticaya are about to go to war against the RDA. Jake and Grace try to talk them out of it, and then Quaritch shows up at the link shack to literally cut them off.
Grace is now cut off from her Avatar, and more than likely, her Avatar will not get any sustenance (i.e., food) again because she won't have the time to feed it again.
2) Back at Hell's Gate, Jake, Grace, Quaritch, etc. argue over whether or not the situation can still be resolved peacefully or if war is the only option until Quaritch shows them the video of Jake admitting that the Na'vi are not interested in anything the humans have and will never move. The whole Avatar program is shut down.
3) Trudy tells them Quaritch is about to hit Hometree. Jake and Grace persuade Selfridge to give them one last chance to talk the Omaticaya out of Hometree, which he does. Jake and Grace tell the Omaticaya that the Skypeople are coming, Jake's treachery is revealed, and they are both bound.
At this point Grace is obviously linked up to her Avatar, but has she fed it? Probably not, because she's got other things to deal with first.
4) Quaritch shows up, destroys Hometree, Mo'at saves Grace and Jake, but Neytiri rejects him. Selfridge orders the link cut, and first Grace, then Jake are cut off from their Avatars and (in their real, human forms) are put in the cell with Norm, presumably to be put on a shuttle and sent back to Earth. Some of the Omaticaya children take the Avatar with them to the Tree.
5) Trudy and Max free them, but Grace is mortally injured in the escape. They move the remote link shack to the general area of the Tree of Souls, Jake links back up to his Avatar, and tames Toruk. He then shows up at the Tree, shows Neytiri and the Omaticaya that he's chosen them over his own race, and asks for their help to save Grace.
6) Grace's real body is brought to the Tree where they attempt to transfer her soul to the Avatar permanently. The attempt fails. Jake then tells everyone to "ride out as fast as you can" (or whatever the quote is) to gather the Clans for battle against the Sky People.
7) The war happens, and in its aftermath, the Na'vi now are in control of Hell's Gate and then (and only then) could they bring the Avatar back to Hell's Gate to put it in an amnio tank.
We remember that the video log in which Jake admits the mission he's been sent there to do is a waste and his final video log are separated by about 11 days or so, meaning that from the point where Grace is cut off from her Avatar for the last time and the point where the Na'vi control Hell's Gate is probably four or five days at a minimum and probably closer to a week.
(it's quite likely that Jake's last video log is recorded several days after the battle, by which time the Na'vi would have control over Hell's Gate)
At any rate, the Avatar would have been "on its own" from the point where Grace is cut off from it until the ceremony. It was probably pretty weak by then and that might be one of the reasons why the ceremony did not work.
Does anyone really think the Na'vi would have spoon-fed the Avatar when they had it?
(it's very unlikely they would know or have an IV setup at the Tree, which is the only other way to provide the Avatar with some minimal level of sustenance)
So, my contention is that there simply wasn't the time to save either Grace or her Avatar and after the ceremony, the easiest thing to do would have been to bury her Avatar along with her old human body.
