I do... And even before the Collectors edition, didn't make much difference, because even in the normal film, from the moment he says 'Toruk Makto, I will fly with you' I was so touched He is great, and he died for his people, fought with his heart and all his strenght, and died with Honour Not only that, but even if it's wrong that Neytiri was mated, and kind of 'obliged' to love him, which is very wrong infact... Still, Jake was the outsider, and Tsu'tey was in love, imagine loving a woman with all your heart, then a man appears from another planet, and you see your Angel leave you... And this ain't any woman, it's Neytiri! Who wouldn't be mad at a person that 'takes' Neytiri away from you, even if, Jake and Neytiri we're meant to be together <3 I would too, so was Tsu'tey ^_^ It hurts... So yeah, I do feel sorry for Tsu'tey, but his death will be remembered and he is a true, Hero

Tsu tey is written as the fall guy from the beginning. He loses handily to jake in every physical confrontation, even when tsu tey is armed and jake is not. Second, he lacks jake's sense of humor and chemistry with neytiri. So, no, i simply get the sense that the native character is written as a less interesting character by the screenwriter.

    I totally agree!

I think Tsu'tey's prejudice against the humans he saw as invaders initially led him to take a hostile posture to Jake's presence. He saw Jake's presence as a threat to his clan and was acting protective. He also appeared understandably jealous as Jake grew close to Neytiri and spent so much time with her. When Neytiri announced her mating with Jake, Tsu'tey's relationship with Jake hit a new low, which was further exacerbated when it looked like his worst fears and suspicions of Jake appeared true when the attack on Hometree began.

The fact that Tsu'tey was able to set aside all that for the good of his clan and embrace his new brother, Jake, is a testament to the true character of Tsu'tey. It is truely a shame he died. I would have enjoyed to see more of him and think he would have grown into a great friend and brother of Jake's.

Well said mate, great post True, I wish this, that things could have gone differently, altough, I must admit, honestly, I can't believe, that there could have Ever been a real, friendship between the two great men, because, you know how it is... if there's a Beautiful Female in the midst of two fallen in love hearts... Awww it hurts to see it all fall apart... But for sure, I wish Tsu'tey had never left us, because he is incredible and just a great warrior, i really really liked him, and anything he did, that might have looked 'rough' or unpolite, is just him doing his work, he protected his people, his family, his beloved woman, and he died for them... Tsu'tey forever

Almost every movie does lose a notable member of the 'good guys'. It what helps keep the level of sympathy up. While Tsu'tey's death was not the saddest, recent example for me (in all honesty, I didn't even shed a tiny tear); it was necessary for the sake of the movie. I hate to be a 'Evil RDA' sympathizer, but to look at both sides of the coin and to stick up for my own species, I'll say this. What of the families and friends of the mercenaries killed in the battle?

    I agree.

But as I'm an external viewer of a 'fictional' story, I am not forced, I'm simply brought to realize who was 'good' and who was 'bad' in that story. Family is Sacred, even for the most horrible people in the world, but their sorrow, can't be justified for the Evil they commited on Pandora, so conclusion is, what of them? **** Them.
