    I believe it does.

Reading 1491 right now. It's a very interesting book. Very insightful.

Books are fun! I love books!

Oh and now I'm reading a fantasy novel and a book on the New Madrid Quake. Awesome stuff, books are.

Reading "The First Men in the Moon" by H.G. Wells.

I don't know about any of you guys, but I find myself drawn more to "old" sci-fi, I think I find newer sci-fi too political for some reason. The old stuff, by Verne and Wells has more plot and just more of that sense of wonderment that accompanies all great sci-fi. I found that in Avatar when I saw it the first time, even in the trailers.

Master And Commander by Patrick O'Brian.
    Loving it!

@HufweMakto I thought Avatar had a very nice balance of political statements and wonder. I agree, lots of sci-fi now gets so politically involved that it forgets to tell a decent story or be creative.

Clash of Kings by George RR Martin. Got hooked after watching the HBO series. Might finish by the end of winter! ;-)

I'm reading a new book by one of my favorite authors: "Free Will" by Sam Harris. It's about how skeptic people use and understand the term "free will" in contrast with how religious people do. Really good!, I'm around the half now, and started it yesterday!
