hi guys! I just wanna share this with you all. i'm photoshopping only for about 5 days and this is what I have done till now.

if you have any tips to make it look even better and more realistic, please tell me.

damn! those white dots on face should be different sizes and smaller.

and...as you see I copied "yellow" part of eyes. can anyone more experienced tell me how to "make" eyes by yourself? they get really messy while I use liquify filter to make nose. I also want to know how to make those "zebra" stripes more original and different or even same like they're in movie. and perhaps better skin color

For five days I have to say that's fantastic work. Truly marvelous.

I've never made the eyes bigger on any of mine because I'm no good at it, so using pre-done eyes is much easier (and more realistic). I used to primarily liquify the noses on mine, but over time I've come to use pre-done noses about 90% of the time.

The stripes can look very convincing if you paint them yourself and not just use some zebra layer. This tutorial does this with the zebra stripes, and to be quite frank they don't look anything like what the Na'vi stripes were, especially on the forehead. The tutorial also promotes changing the skin tone to a "leather" texture... The Na'vi did not have leather-like skin. It was smooth with pores like ours. Don't fall for that one. oh yeah thanks for your tutorial! I know how to make stripes with this "create james cameron's avatar .." tutorial but I wanted to make them look same as you do hehe they look much better
