My first Avatarisation.

Ok, this is the first attempt at "avatarisation" I have done, and it's me!

I will admit, I copped out on the nose a bit, mainly because my skill with photoshop isn't as good as some people out there, but i'm still happy with the overall result.

Also lacking are stripes but I plan to add those at a later date.

So here is the original;

All construcive criticism will be accepted and will be a great deal of help, so fire away...

Goes without saying, please don't steal it.

Looks good man, just the stripes like you said and it'll be perfect.

Yea everything's cool but make eyes a bit bigger and add yellow

Looks real good !

It's very difficult to deform the nose properly on a pic when not seen from the front and you did it really really good.
The ear blends very nicely, gratz on that, it really looks it's from the original pic. excellent !

Now for the "bad news" aka constructive criticisms :

- need stripes (black stripes as an overlay is easy to add and can render very good with as low as 20% or as high as 50 or even 60% opacity on the layer)
- The eyes need to be "yellowed"
- need more white dots : MORE DOTS ! (/wink to wow players !) on various sizes, don't be affraid to put much more on another layer and blend it down a tad until you think you're good.

Also it seems you can extract your face and your hat quite easily (even the hair on the left side) so I suggest you really should extract all that to change the background to either the forest or whatever !

I was toying with the idea of making the eyes bigger, but i'm really bad at liquidising so I left them as they were. I might give it another go though.
